Event is scheduled for Sunday, July 14

Adorned with everything from unique lawn ornaments, to rare ferns and a vibrant koi pond, the six stunning and picturesque gardens featured in the Garden Walk hosted by the Burlington Area Garden Club offer backyard vistas that possess the power to inspire master gardeners or fulfill those who are simply looking to drink in nature’s beauty.

The garden walk, scheduled for Sunday, July 14, takes participants on a road trip of just a few miles through the Burlington and Waterford areas, but transports them visually to a world of orderly botanical beauty.

Tickets are $8 in advance, and $10 the day of the walk. They can be purchased from any member of the Burlington Garden Center, Burlington Flowers & Interiors, Gooseberries, Sentry, Gia Bella Flowers and Gifts, 3D Greenhouses, Marty’s Diamond Restaurant, The Pharmacy Station in Waterford or Piggly Wiggly in Union Grove.

On the day of the walk, tickets and maps to the garden locations will available for purchase at the gazebo in Wehmhoff Square, in downtown Burlington. The tour is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Proceeds go towards grants and scholarships presented by the Garden Club to students studying in horticultural related fields after high school.

For details, or to purchase advance tickets, please call co-chair of the event, Barbara Lehn, at (262) 767-8757 or visit burlingtongardenclub.com.

This is the 20th time the organization has hosted the event.
