The Burlington High School varsity basketball doubleheader with Wilmot scheduled for Friday evening, Dec. 20, has been postponed due to treacherous travel conditions.
The double bill was scheduled to feature the BHS girls team, followed by the boys team, hosting the respective Panther squads. The makeup date had not been announced as of mid Friday morning.
The basketball games became a victim of the weather when Burlington Area School District officials cancelled classes for the day due to icy roads. Freezing rain is forecast for much of Friday.
