The Burlington Little League All-Stars saw their season end Thursday night with a 12-2 loss to Chicago’s Jackie Robinson All-Stars in the Great Lakes Regional semifinals.
The Chicago will play Michigan Saturday at 1 p.m. for the regional title.
Burlington played the Jackie Robinson squad even except for a 10-run second inning that chased Burlington starting pitcher Trey Krause from the game. Burlington posted two runs in the bottom of the second, but couldn’t draw closer.
