In spite of a lineup shift due to an injury, the Burlington High School girls volleyball team found a way to get the job done Thursday night in the WIAA Division 1 sectional semifinals.

With outside hitter Ciara Capezio limited to just back-row play after tweaking a knee injury Wednesday during practice, the Demons downed Milton, 25-12, 25-20, 25-20. Senior Kaysie Shebeneck led the way with 14 kills.

Burlington will play Westosha Central – 25-20, 25-23, 25-21 winners over Kenosha Bradford – for the sectional title Saturday night at Elkhorn at 7 p.m.

Catholic Central also won its sectional semifinal Thursday, defeating Williams Bay 25-11, 22-25, 25-10, 25-13 at Badger. The Lady Toppers will play Sheboygan Lutheran Saturday at Lake Country Lutheran at 7 p.m. for the sectional title.

In the other Division 1 sectional semifinal involving area teams, Muskego defeated Union Grove, 25-22, 25-20, 25-21.
