RONALD PETER STRASSER

      Ronald Peter Strasser found peace on March 2, 2024, at the age of 84.

Ronald was the loving and devoted husband of Jeanine (Wendt) for 63 years; the proud father of Dan (LeAnn), Rick (Cheryl), Tim (Jeri Lynn), and Tom; the cherished grandfather of Kari Rosenberger, Kristin and Erica (Nathan) Chart, Nick, Brett, Keith (Abby), Kevin, Kelly and Monique (Adam) Kurlowski, and Matt, Meghan, Mikhaela, Wyatt and Jessica; and the adored great-grandfather of Camden, Bennett, Archie, Owen, Evan, Axel and Penelope. He was the caring brother of Shirley Strode and Jack (Judy); brother-in-law of Nancy Strasser, Marjorie Pierce, Marilyn Behrens, Don (Mary) Wendt, and Mel (Glenell) Wendt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Evelyn (Bindels); in-laws Elmer and Olive Wendt; his daughter Kathy; daughter-in-law Missy; brother Marv; and brothers-in-law, Jerry Strode, Dennis Pierce, and Bud Behrens.

Ron was the owner/operator of Ron’s Service. He was a Charter Member of St. Clare’s and Tichigan Lions. His passion was his family along with being in Eagle River. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, classic cars. He will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank Father Johnny and Deacon Jim for their visits, along with Aurora at Home Hospice, especially Candy, Beth and Erin, for the wonderful care and support.

A Memorial visitation will be held from 9 until 11:15 a.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at St. Clair Catholic Church, 7616 Fritz St., Wind Lake.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ronald’s honor appreciated to St. Clare Catholic Church, Tichigan Fire Department, or Tichigan Lions Club.
