PAULINE L. MANN

      Pauline L. Mann, 93, of Burlington, passed away Sunday, Dec. 24, 2023, at Oak Park Place.

Pauline was born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania on July 14, 1930, to Daniel and Katie (nee Kunze) Lenox. Her early life was spent in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania. She attended Pen Manor Schools in Millersville, Pennsylvania. On Jan. 1, 1948, in Lancaster, she was united in marriage to George Mann. Following marriage, they lived in Lancaster before moving to Burlington and resided there for 58 of her remaining years. George preceded her in death in 1994.

Pauline worked for Lavelle Rubber and Sentry Foods and was a member of Cross Lutheran Church. She was a 4-H leader, Cub Scout leader, and member of Red Hats and Order of Eastern Star. She was a lifelong member of Cross Lutheran and served as a Sunday School teacher and board member. She was an avid Brewers and Packers fan. Most of all, she loved her family and found great joy in watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow.

Pauline is survived by her children, George (Jayne) Mann of Muskego, Paul (Tommie) Mann of Mason City, Iowa and Gary (Valerie) Mann of Cape Cod, Massachusetts; grandchildren, Michelle (Burt) Abel, Chris (Jennifer) Mann, Megan (Scott) Ottow and Morgan Mann; and great-grandchildren, Macy Abel, Camden Ottow, Emerson Ottow, Clara Mann and Julia Mann. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Steven, granddaughter Michal and siblings, Robert, Victor, Blaine, Richard, Mildred and Elsie.

The family would like to thank Oak Park Place and St. Croix Hospice for their care and compassion during this time.

In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest that donations be made to Love Inc. of Burlington or a charity of your choice.

Services for Pauline will be held on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at 1 p.m. at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Thursday, Jan. 4 from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
