BETTY A. WIENERS

      Betty A. Wieners passed away Friday, May 12, 2023, at Fort Memorial Hospital in Fort Atkinson.

Betty was born in Illinois on July 8, 1937, to Cecil and Myrtle (nee Fisher) Porter. Her early life was spent in Burlington, where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.

On April 19, 1958, Betty was united in marriage to Mark Wieners. Following their marriage they resided in Burlington and then moved to Nekoosa where they have lived for the last 35 years. Betty was a Registered Nurse for clinical work. She was a former nurse for Dr. McNeill, Dr. Erickson and Dr. Ellingstad. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Betty loved quilting, sewing, gardening, and watching bird She enjoyed nature and spending time with her family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her husband Mark; children, Chris (Steve) Ehlen, Mark E. (Jill) Wieners, Donna (Dave) Albrecht, David (Dawn) Wieners and JoAnn (Korey) Tenpas; grandchildren, Nicholas (Jessica) Ehlen, Jonathan (Amanda) Ehlen, Katelyn (Craig) Loeffler, Jared (Stephanie Parks) Wieners, Lauren (Vaughn) Weis, Geoff (Sommer Navarez) Albrecht, Kevin (Katelynn) Albrecht, Justin (Lauren) Wieners, Kristen (Erwin Villegas) Wieners, Brady (Katrina Vargas) Wincapaw, Nicole Relyea, Sierra Relyea, Kelsey (Adam) Fleischhacker and Sidney Tenpas; 12 great grandchildren with one on the way; and sibling Cloyd (Joan) Porter.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, May 14, 2023, at noon at Donna and Dave Albrecht’s home, 110 North Honey Lake Road, Burlington.

A burial will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Burlington.
