Thomas Virgil Alby, 75, of Houston, Texas, died on Saturday, July 30, 2022, after a prolonged illness.
Tom was born on March 3, 1947, in Burlington. Tom and Virginia (Ginger) Henderson were married on May 28, 1966. Tom was a Past Master of Burlington Masonic Lodge #28.
Tom is survived by his wife Ginger; sons, Brian (Tracy) Alby, and Steve (Viktoria) Alby; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers; his sister; his brother-in-law, four sisters-in-law and their spouses; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, a brother, two brothers-in-law and four sisters-in-law.
The family wishes to thank his caregiver Danette Fogarty for her special love and care at this time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests taking a walk on a beach, park, or spending some time in reflection of Tom’s memory. He would be honored if you would share a good Polish joke.
