Ruth A. Munger, 90, Burlington, died June 1, 2016, at her residence. She was born April 12, 1926, near Elkhorn to the late Reinhold and Dagmar (Olsen) Schoenbeck. She graduated from Elkhorn High School in 1944.
On Dec. 16, 1950, she married Glenn Munger in Delavan. He passed away Aug. 2, 2005. Together they farmed in the Walworth County area, until moving to Burlington in 1961. She was a member of Cross Lutheran Church, and was employed at NEL Laboratories for 21 years, retiring in 1990. She loved to bake, do crossword puzzles and read.
Survivors include her children, Suzanne (Richard) Matthews, Wheat Ridge, Colo., and Marilyn (Gerald) Kalous, Burlington; grandchildren, Alisha (Jason) Mannon, Chelsea Kalous (Stephen Jaslow) fiancé and Ashley Matthews; a sister, Grace Schoenbeck, Elkhorn, brother-in-law, Gordon Folkers, Delavan; sister-in-law, Joyce Davis, Delavan.
She was further preceded in death by her sister, Doris Folkers.

Memorial services are Thursday, June 9, at 11 a.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on June 9, from 9:30 a.m., until 10:45 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow service in Burlington Cemetery.
