RITA D. BEYER

Easter Lily      Rita D. Beyer, 68, Burlington, died Aug. 3, 2016, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Milwaukee. She was born April 2, 1948, to the late Harold Webb and Sue Crider in Jackson, Tenn. She was raised by her mom Sue and stepdad George Gill in Jackson, Nashville, then Erin Tenn.

At age 14 she moved to Des Plaines, Ill., to live with her grandmother Opal Hutcherson. She graduated from Main West High School in Des Plaines and received her degree as an RN from Gateway Technical School.

On May 15, 1970, she married Robert C. Beyer in Crown Point, Ind. Following marriage they resided in Rosemont, Ill., until relocating to Burlington in 1974.

She was employed by Mt. Carmel/Kindred/Burlington Rehab as a Registered Nurse for 25 years. She loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. Her life was all about her family and her pets. She loved being a nurse and helping others.

Survivors include her husband of 46 years; daughters, Jennifer Renai (Jeff) Wiegel and Jessica Courtney Beyer; grandchildren, Marissa and Morgan Wiegel; stepsisters, Teena (Rick) Gill Rye and Angela (Rich) Gill Skirvin; nieces; other relatives and friends.

A memorial service is Sunday, Aug. 14, at 4 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 S. Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Aug. 14, from 2-4 p.m., at the funeral home.

The family has suggested memorials be made to Aurora VNA.
