Ralph J. Schneider, 71, Mt. Pleasant, died June 5, 2016, at Fred’s Elder Care in Wind Lake. He was born April 24, 1945, to James and Valieda (Jahns) Schneider. He spent his early life in Twin Lakes and graduated from Wilmot High School.
He loved playing baseball on Little League teams, Pony League teams and in high school and continued to play into his adult years. He worked for and retired from S.C. Johnson Wax Co. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and restoring old cars and gas pumps.
Survivors include his mother, Valieda; sister, Gloria (Ted) Westerhaus; stepdaughter, Heather Martinez and her family; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
His father and grandparents preceded him in death.

Memorials can be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Services for Ralph are Wednesday, June 8, at 7 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. Friends and family can visit on June 8, from 4-7 p.m., at the funeral home. A private burial will take place at Wilmot Cemetery.
