RALPH G. SCHULZ

Easter Lily      Ralph G. Schulz, 85, Hartford, formerly Menomonee Falls, died peacefully surrounded by his family on April 8, 2016, at Majestic Heights in Hartford.

He was born on May 9, 1930 in Milwaukee to the late Martin and Angeline (Grundmann) Schulz. He married Margaret Mary Habeth on April 7, 1951, at St. Gall’s Catholic Church, Milwaukee.

He was a member of Good Shepherd in Menomonee Falls. He served his country in the U.S. Army, 95th Engineering Base Repro Company, during the Korean War from 1951-1953 and from 1953-1959 was a member of the Army reserves.

He traveled the back roads to buy and sell his antiques at many flea markets. He was one of the first donors to the Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls. He was a lithographer for Mandel Printing Co. for 41 years and belonged to the Lithographer Union. He dearly loved his family and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his children, Jacquelyn Schulz, Butler, Pamela (John) Papermaster, Jerusalem, John (Susan) Schulz, Menomonee Falls, Anneliese (Mark) DeKoning, Rubicon, Ronald (Jennifer) Schulz, Sussex, Katheryn (Scott) Safar, Burlington; grandchildren, Yaakov (Tamar), Sara-Liba, Sheina (Gabe) Kopstein, Jessica (Nathan) Kolbe, Tyler (Carrie), Spencer, Curtis, Weston, Collin, Logan, Ryan, Liam, Sean, Ethan, Ellarose; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Bert (Nina) Schulz, Jackson; brother-in-law, John (Cricket) Habeth, Hartford; nieces; nephews; other relatives and dear friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated April 12, at 6 p.m., at St. Kilian Church in Hartford with Fr. David LaPlante officiating. Visitation at the church only on Tuesday from 4-6 p.m. Shimon Funeral Home, Hartford, is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Andean Health and Development c/o University of Wisconsin, Department of Family Medicine, 1100 Delaplaine Ct., Madison, WI 53715 or St. Kilian Catholic Church would be appreciated.
