MICHAEL A. PERVISKY

Easter Lily      Michael A. Pervisky ‘Polack, ’68, died Oct. 23, 2016, at Lakeview Specialty Hospital and Rehab, Waterford. He was born Sept. 19, 1948, in La Crosse, to the late Edwin and Dorothy (Herricks) Pervisky. He married Beverly Jenkins on May 29, 1976.

He was a lifetime employee of Foster Forbes Glass Plant in Burlington, working in machine repair from 1967 until his retirement in 2010.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1971 to 1973.

Greater than his love for car racing was his love for his granddaughter, Isabella.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Lisa; son-in-law, Toby Franzen; granddaughter, Isabella; sisters and brother, Carole (late Bob) Rodemeyer, Kathy (Chris) Fiorini, Joe (Jane) Pervisky, Barb (Bob) Greenwald; Bev’s sisters and brother and their families; nieces; nephews; cousins; friends; and his ‘Bud’ Bowie.

He was further preceded in death by his father-in-law, and brother-in-law, Bob.

Michael’s family would like to thank Drs. Dankle and Welka for their immediate care and concern during some of the most critical moments of Mike’s illness. A special thank you to Dr. Haider and his nurse, Mel, at Aurora Cancer Care, the members of the Burlington Rescue Squad and Medix Ambulance Service, especially Raquel, and all of the nurses and staff at Memorial Hospital of Burlington.

Per Mike’s request, a private service with immediate family has already taken place. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, Burlington, served the family.
