Loretta Rieck, 91, Burlington, died Oct. 2, 2016, at Arbor View Memory Care in Burlington. She was born Jan. 5, 1925, in Burlington, to the late Henry and Eleanor (Prailes) Seubert. She was a lifetime resident of Burlington, graduating from St. Mary’s High School.
On June 2, 1945, she married Mahlon ‘Mike’ Rieck at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Loretta worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Ryall. She had a super green thumb and was an excellent crafter. She loved boxer dogs and raised many of them over the years.
She is survived by her sister, Loraine Zinnen, Kansasville.
She was further preceded in death by her husband; daughter, Christina Loraine Rieck; brother, John Seubert, and brother-in-law, John Zinnen.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Oct. 10, at 11:15 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. James Volkert presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends is Oct. 10, from 10-11 a.m., at Good Shepherd Chapel. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
