Ella M. Sachs, 92, Burlington, died May 30, 2016, at her daughter’s home. She was born May 30, 1924, in Collins, Mo., to the late Armor and Lora (Higgins) Moore. She spent her early life in Delavan where she attended school.
In August of 1946 she married Leslie W. Olson in Lawrence, Kan. They made their home in Delavan where they raised their daughters. On June 22, 1972, she married Peter B. Sachs. They made their home in Chicago. He preceded her in death on Feb. 12, 1997. Ella moved to Burlington seven years ago to live with her daughter.
She worked as a beautician and loved to bowl, golf, swim and garden and always looked forward to spending time with her family.
Survivors include her daughters, Sherry (James) Morel and Corinne (Darrell Paschall) Olson; grandchild, Marques Morel; and great-grandchild, Wilder Morel.
She was further preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
The family would like to say a special thank you to Helen Rock, who loved and cared for Ella these past four years.
Services for Ella will be private. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
