Deonne E. Frautschy, 86, Burlington, died Aug. 11, 2016, at Village Glen, Lake Geneva. She was born April 20, 1930, in Janesville, to the late Myron and Ardys (Hake) Missfeldt. She spent her early life in Lake Mills where she graduated from high school before attending Milwaukee State Teachers College.
On June 3, 1951, she married James Frautschy. Following marriage they made their home in Burlington. He preceded her in death on June 4, 2012.
She was a past member of Plymouth Congregational Church. She volunteered with the Burlington Hospital Auxiliary and the Burlington Garden Club. She loved gardening, taking special care of her perennial flowers and roses. Her greatest passion was the treasured time she spent with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Dr.’s Mark (Missy) Frautschy, Greenfield, and Kim (John) Brosel, Delavan; grandchildren, Dennis Frautschy, Steven Frautschy, Eileen Frautschy, Elizabeth Frautschy, Claire (Jeff) Spiegelhoff, and Katie (Tim) Stover; great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Hannah, Rebekah and Lydia Spiegelhoff and Emma Stover.
The family asks for memorials to go to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Visitation for Deonne is Monday, Aug. 15, from 4-7 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. Burial will be private at Evergreen Cemetery.
