Carl David Haas, 68, New Castle, Del., formerly Burlington, died unexpectedly on Oct. 2, 2016, at his home. He was born March 10, 1948, to the late David ‘Bud’ and Myrtle Haas in Princeton, Ill.
He spent most of his life working in the glass manufacturing industry, working for Foster Forbes/National Can in Burlington, for over 20 years. He then went on to work at Anchor Glass, retiring from there in 2005. He enjoyed golfing, motorcycles, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his daughter, Courtney (Haas) Halverson, Burlington; brother and sister-in-law, Robert (Patricia) Haas; granddaughter, Kylie Halverson; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
