WILLIAM B. DAVID

Easter Lily      William B. David, 94, Burlington, died Nov. 5, 2015, at Arbor View, Burlington, which was the 24th anniversary of his wife’s passing. He was born in Burlington on April 29, 1921, to the late Frank and Margaret (Foley) David. He had been a lifetime resident of Burlington where he graduated from St. Mary’s High School.

On May 28, 1949, he married Beatrice Mary Zeihen. She preceded him in death on Nov. 5, 1991.

He worked at Burlington Consumers Co-Op as Feed Mill & Fertilizer Plant Operator. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, was a member of Teamsters Union, coached Little League, was a Boy Scout leader and belonged to numerous card clubs and bowling leagues. He was an avid Packer fan and enjoyed golfing, fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his children, James (Karin) David, Wind Lake, Joan Winkler (Bill Mashburn), Burlington, Judy (Tony) Gerulat, Lake Geneva; grandchildren, Marcy and Rob, Andy and Julie, Jessica and Matt, Jeffrey and Lizzy, Melissa and Allen, Keith, Katie & Barry, Sarah & Roger and James; great-grandchildren, Alicia (Josh), Kyle (Maddie), Samantha, Ryan, Emma, Jaidon, Mitchell, Addison and Julia; great-great-grandchildren, Kacen and Londyn; brother, Joe (Middy) David; in-laws, Roger (Romayne) Zeihen and Romana (Dave) Gallo; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

He was further preceded in death by his sisters, Rose and Mary.

The family would like to thank Dr. Melanie Smith and staff, Arbor View Communities and staff, and Hospice Advantage for their care and compassion during this time.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 10 a.m., St. Charles Church, Burlington, with the Rev. Yamid Blanco presiding. Burial will follow in St. Charles Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, on Monday, Nov. 9, from 5-7 p.m.
