Robert M. ‘Bob’ Clausen, 89, died Nov. 5, 2015, at Clement Manor Health Center, Greenfield. He lived in Burlington most of his life.
He was married to his loving wife, Grace, for 66 years.
He enjoyed bowling, golf, playing cards and volunteering with his wife as popcorn makers at the nursing home in Burlington for 21 years.
He was a World War II Veteran, serving in the Pacific Theater in the Army Air Force and retired after more than 30 years with the U.S. Postal Service.
Survivors include his wife; children, Susan (Mark), John, Paul (Sue) and Mary Beth (Ron); seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Clara; siblings, Alfred, Raymond, Donald and Mary Ann.

Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Nov. 9, at St. Charles Catholic Church, Burlington, with the Rev. James Volkert presiding. Burial was in St. Charles Cemetery. A Memorial Mass is Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 9:30 a.m., at Clement Manor Chapel, 3939 S. 92nd St., Greenfield. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Charles Church or Love Inc., Burlington, are suggested.
