Peter L. Kartsonas, 76, Burlington, died Feb. 13, 2015, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee.
He was born in Michigan on Aug. 22, 1938, to the late Louis and Virginia (Hollaway) Kartsonas. He moved to Kenosha in 1954 where he graduated from high school. He moved to Wheatland in 1982.
He married JoAnn Gayle Ellingson and they were together for 35 years. Pete worked at Nestles as a machine operator. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church, enjoyed hunting and fishing until his health prevented him from participating in those activities. He also enjoyed playing cards.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Dawn Riemer, Tracy Kartsonas, Shiela Kartsonas and Nicole Grosbier Kartsonas; stepdaughters, Cheryl Ort, Cathy Marzini and Kim Ellingson; 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was further preceded in death by his sister, Carol Ward.
Services are Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 3 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 265 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with the Rev. Rob Bolling officiating. Visitation is Feb. 17, from 1-3 p.m., at the funeral home.
