PATRICIA G. ROBERS

Easter Lily      Patricia G. Robers, 88, Burlington, died peacefully surrounded by family on Feb. 16, 2015, at Pine Brook Pointe of Burlington.

She was born Sept. 23, 1926, in Burlington, to the late Elmer and Eleanor (Wiemer) Brook. She spent her entire life in Burlington receiving her grade and high school education at St. Mary’s. Following high school her employment was at the local doll furniture factory.

On June 19, 1948, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Burlington, she married Arthur J. Robers. Following marriage they resided in Burlington where they raised their family. He preceded her in death on May 1, 2007.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend, and homemaker – all giving her such joy and contentment. She also enjoyed bowling, letter writing, and playing cards along the way. Her kind, sweet and gentle soul will be greatly missed and remembered always.

Survivors include her daughters, Jo Ann (Ron) Otto, Richland Center, and Ellen (Don) Siehoff, Burlington; son, Michael P. (Pam) Robers, Burlington; grandchildren, Matthew (Alison Brooks) Otto, Rebecca (Michael) Otto-Siefkes, Sarah (Scott) Siefkes, Timothy (Mary) Otto, Bethany (Aaron) Jerabek, Jake Siehoff, Jillian (Sam) White, Alex (Mariela) Siehoff, Angela (Steve) Wegner, Stacy (fiancé, Brian Bilski) Robers, Russell Robers; great-grandchildren, Owen, Ben, and Ellie Otto, Faith and Elin Jerabek, Mason Wegner, Audrey White (with others on the way); her brother, Don (Kathryn) Brook, in-laws, Sylvia Brook, Martin Jr. (Audrey) Robers, Edward Robers; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by her brother, Philip Brook; sister, Phyllis Stang; in-laws, Richard Stang, Lucille (Andrew) Borucki, Martha (Edward) Hegeman, Esther (Roman) Hegeman, Charles (Phyllis) Robers, Arlene Robers.

The family would like to thank the compassionate staff of Pine Brook Pointe for their gentle care for the past 3 plus years along with Seasons Hospice in recent times.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 20, at noon at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. James Volkert presiding. Burial will follow the service. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Feb. 20, at Good Shepherd Chapel from 10:30-11:45 a.m. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, Burlington, is serving the family.

Memorials to St. Mary’s Church, Pine Brook Pointe or a charity of one’s choice are suggested.
