Mary I. Trapp, 93, died Dec. 2, 2015, at Whispering Willows, Elkhorn. She was born Jan. 21, 1922. She was adopted and raised by George and Anna (Weishipel) Reichberger.
On May 9, 1964, she married the late Edward Trapp. He died October 1996. Following marriage they resided in Burlington. She was a homemaker and a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She enjoyed gardening, writing letters, shopping and eating out.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregivers at Whispering Willows, the caring staff at Home & Hospice Advantage, and the support and help from the Racine Community Care.
A memorial service is Friday, Dec. 11, at 2 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Family Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with the Rev. Daniel Waldschmidt officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family Friday, from 1-2 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
