MARGARET J. LANGER

Easter Lily      Margaret ‘Peggy’ Jean Langer, 72, Manitowoc, died Feb. 7, 2015, at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers. She was born Dec. 20, 1942, to the late Lawrence H. and Edna M. (North) Middleton in Burlington. Her early life was spent in Burlington where she graduated from Burlington High School Class of 1960.

On May 20, 1992, she married Douglas Bernard Langer in Racine. Following marriage they resided in Union Grove until moving to Manitowoc in 2004. While living in Union Grove, Peggy worked at Bardon Rubber. She enjoyed crocheting, canvas weaving, working on puzzle books, watching old movies and scratch-offs.

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Lora (Donald) Meinen; grandchildren, Lisa (Jesse) Ostrander, Connie Meinen, Mark Meinen; great-grandchildren, Jesse, Nick and Breanna Ostrander, Jaz and Candice Meinen and Alyssa Meinen; siblings, Harvey D. Zuhbe, Lawrence E. (Sue) Middleton, Virginia M. Van and Elizabeth A. (Mike Holschbach) Webel.

She was further preceded in death by her brother, Robert H. Middleton; sisters, Mary L. DuBois and Joyce A. Childers; niece, Karen Messer; nephews, John C. Fellie, Scott Stevens, Jerald John Jerome and Kenneth Middleton; grandparents, Forrest and Anna Blaese Middleton and Florence L. (Gibbs) Kline.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors at Northridge Rehab Center in Manitowoc and Aurora Medical Center in Two Rivers for their care and compassion.

Funeral services are Saturday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Family Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with Chaplain Larry Williams officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Feb. 14, from noon until 1:45 p.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow service in Burlington Cemetery.
