JOHN SINDBERG

Easter Lily      John Sindberg, 58, died Dec. 5, 2015, at Memorial Hospital of Burlington. He was born Sept. 21, 1957, to Charles and Janice Sindberg. He grew up in West Allis, and graduated from West Allis Nathan Hale High School in 1975.

He married the love of his life, Jan (Booton), on Oct. 22, 1988. They moved to Waterford where they raised their two sons.

He was very active in his personal life and community. He helped out at his church St. Thomas Aquinas. Even with his career he served others, as a paramedic for eight years and a firefighter for 30 years. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting and fishing. He was also a big sports fan, especially when it came to any Wisconsin sports such as Packers, Badgers, and the Brewers. As active as he was in his life, he loved most spending time with his family. He loved playing cribbage and Yahtzee, and coaching his son’s sports teams while they were growing up.

Survived include his loving wife; sons, Jacob and Jerome Sindberg; his father; siblings, Michael (Anne) Sindberg, Diana (Mark) Galaszewski, Carol (Norm) Fellenz; his father-in-law, Donald Booton; sister-in-law, Pam Booton; brother-in-law, Greg (Molly) Booton; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; firefighters; and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother; brother, Jim Sindberg; and mother-in-law, Virginia Booton.

A service will be held Saturday, Dec. 12, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 302 S. 2nd St., Waterford. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of services at noon. A luncheon will immediately follow the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated. Integrity Funeral Services, Waterford, is serving the family.
