Jean M. (Story) Hoover, 86, formerly Union Grove, died Feb. 11, 2015, to be with her Lord who she served for 64 years.
She served with her late husband, Herb, in the pastorate and evangelism for 54 years and was a faithful member of Souls Harbor Baptist Church, Milwaukee, for 28 years.
She was the loving mother of Pastor Paul D. (Cindy), the late Mark (Kathy) and Rebecca; grandmother of Aimee (Jason) Atwood, Alisa (Donnie) Hagan, Paul J. (Michelle) and Ashlee (Lee) Crigger; great-grandmother of William, Connor, Andrew, Jackson, Titus and Silas; sister of Beverly (Fred) Perry. She was further survived by other relatives and many friends.
She was further preceded in death by her parents, brothers and a sister.
The home going service is Feb. 17, at Souls Harbor Baptist Church, 3800 S. Howell Ave., Milwaukee, with the Rev. Paul D. Hoover officiating. A committal service will follow at Wisconsin Memorial Park.
Memorials to Souls Harbor Baptist Church are suggested. Hartson Funeral Home, Hales Corners, is serving the family.
