Eric ‘Little Fitz’ Fitzpatrick, 36, Burlington, died Dec. 24, 2015. He was born Feb. 24, 1979, to Dennis Fitzpatrick and Dianne (McCumber) Wiemer in Milwaukee County. He was a lifetime resident of Burlington.
He loved the outdoors including fishing, hunting and camping. He was a caring person and a compassionate animal lover. He had a heart of gold, would do anything for anybody and had many friends. He was very family orientated and his family meant the world to him.
Survivors include his parents, Dennis (Karen) Fitzpatrick and Dianne (Douglas) Wiemer; aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and many friends.
He was further preceded in death by his brother, Jason; grandparents; Uncle James Fishbach and Aunt Barbara McCumber.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Paddock Lake Rescue Squad and to all the people who loved, assisted and supported Eric throughout his trials in life.
A private service will be held at a later date. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
