Doris Ann (Bosanec) Lange, 87, died Jan. 10, 2015, unexpectedly, from an accident at her home.
She was born Oct. 21, 1927, to the late Thomas and Christine (Pirsarek) Bosanec in Racine. She lived most of her life in the Racine and Burlington area. She was a baptized Jehovah’s Witness who practiced her faith at the Kingdom Hall in Burlington. She loved to quilt, sew and bake. She could make the best apple pie around. She was a kind, caring and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.
Survivors include her loving husband of 45 years, Roy; children, Les (Jackie) Miller, Terrill (Willie) Smith, Brian (Corina) Miller, Dean (Ruth) Miller, Jerry (Pam) Miller, Randy (Marsha) Miller, Perry (Dagney) Miller, Mike (Linda) Lange, Susan (David) Lange; grandchildren, Jennifer, Travis, Melissa, Misty, Nathan, Nicholas, Shane, Brianne, Jesse, Amorette, Stacy, Elyse, Tylor, Ashley, Garrett, Tristan, Quinn, Justin, Brian Jr.; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Evelyn Neff and Karen Gauthier; nieces; nephews and friends.
She was further preceded in death by her son, Les.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses on the Surgical ICU Unit at Froedtert Hospital and the Palliative Medical Team for their care and compassion.
A memorial service is Wednesday, Jan. 14, at 7 p.m., at Kingdom Hall Jehovah’s Witnesses, 122 Teut Road, Burlington. Relatives and friends may visit with the family, at the Kingdom Hall, from 6:30 p.m., until service. Inurnment will take place at a later date, at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
