DEBBIE E. RAUSCH

Easter Lily      Debbie E. Rausch, 65, died peacefully July 15, 2015, at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington, surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was born Nov. 3, 1949, to the late Walter and Helen (Pfanzelter) Rausch in Burlington. She spent her whole life in Burlington, graduating from St. Mary’s High School. She first worked for Quality Carriers for six years, then for the past 40 years was employed at Zarek Insurance, retiring in 2014.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, enjoyed reading, watching the food network on TV, and more than anything loved traveling with friends, nieces and nephews.

Survivors include her brothers, Phil (Dorothy) Rausch, Steve (Cindy) Rausch; brother-in-law, Bill Klepp; nieces and nephews, Patty (Brian) Bosch, Terri (Elton) Klepp-Hom, Kevin Klepp, Barb (George) Junkermeier, Ed (Janice) Rausch; other cousins and an aunt. She is further survived by extended family, Bill and Maryann Henningfield and their family, Janice and John Koons and their family, special friend Carol Lind who was always there for her throughout her illness.

She was further preceded in death by her brother, Tom; sister, Janet Klepp; grandparents, Herman and Elizabeth Pfanzelter, John and Agnes Rausch and aunts and uncles.

In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Debbie’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all the family and friends who helped and cared for her, to the Aurora Hospice staff, Dr. Haider and his staff for all their compassionate care.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 20, at 7 p.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Monday, July 20, from 4-6:45 p.m., at the Good Shepherd Chapel, St. Mary. Burial will be Tuesday, July 21, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
