ALBERT WANSER

Easter Lily      Albert ‘Al’ Lewis Wanser, 72, Silver Point, Tenn., died July 3, 2015, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. No services are planned.

He was born Nov. 2, 1942, in Biloxi, Miss., to the late Albert Ernest and Marie Wallace Wanser.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Carol Jean Combs, and a brother, John Wallace.

He was a Navy veteran, serving from 1960 to 1964. He was a retired electrician with the Chrysler Corp., in Kenosha, with 30 years of service. He was a resident of Burlington, before retiring in 1999, and he and ‘Char’ moved to Putnam County, Tenn.

He loved fishing, hunting, bowling, woodworking and especially being with family.

Survivors include his wife of 49 years Charlene ‘Char’ Thomas Wanser of Silver Point, (married June 25, 1966, in Racine), daughters and sons-in-law, Jodie Kay and Joseph Kendall, McMinnville, Tenn., Linda Sue and Shannon Taylor, Coalmont, Tenn., son and daughter-in-law, Scot Albert and Kristen Wanser, Brighton, Tenn., sister, Glynis Anseth, Colorado, brother, Paul Michael Wanser, New York; grandchildren, Jordan Michael Kennedy, Britta Noel Kegarise, Salina Wanser, Kendall Erickson, Hunter Nicole Wanser, Logan Scot Wanser and Collin Mark Wanser; great-grandchild, Emma Ann Kendall.
