WILLIAM W. ZUSAN

William Walter ‘Bill’ Zusan, 82, Burlington, died Jan. 29, 2014, at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha.

He was born Nov. 7, 1931, to the late William and Stella (Kimball) Zusan in Hastings, Minn. His early life was spent in Hastings where he graduated from St. John’s High in Collegeville Minn.

On Oct. 6, 1951, he married Patricia Trimberger, who died Feb. 17, 2004. Following marriage they resided in Hastings until relocating to Burlington in 1960.

He was employed by Burlington Wholesale and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church where he was lead usher for many years. He was involved in the community in various aspects, was a Boy Scout leader, coached Little League and was a crossing guard for many years. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and trap shooting and was a member of the Burlington Conservation Club.

Survivors include his children. Barbara Zusan, Burlington, Gregory (Debbie) Zusan, Avon, Ind., Mark (Christine) Zusan, Burlington, Kathleen (Robert) McGregor, Muskego; grandchildren, Erin (Ryan) Cripe, Matthew (Kelly) Zusan, Brianne (Stacy) Scott, Benjamin (Allie) Zusan, Courtney (Josh) Davis, Adam (Jessica) McGregor, Scott McGregor, Chelsea Zusan and Kaylee Zusan; great-grandchildren, Callaghan Zusan, Camyle Johnson, Emma Johnson, Lillian Davis, Xander Davis, Henry Zusan, Jackson Scott, Sophia Scott, Peyton Cripe, Carson Cripe, Aiden Zusan, Kieren Zusan; other relatives and friends.

He was further preceded in death by his sister, Beverly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m., at St. Charles Catholic Church with the Rev. Steve Amann officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Feb. 3, from 4-6:30 p.m., at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial is Tuesday, Feb. 4, at 10 a.m., at St. Charles Cemetery. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
