WAYNE M. SCHRADER

Easter Lily      Wayne M. Schrader, 87, Rochester, died Aug. 17, 2014, at Aurora Medical Center, Elkhorn.

He was born in Burlington on Dec. 22, 1926, to the late Merle L. and Florence (Heublein) Schrader. He spent his entire life in the Rochester area and graduated from Pleasant View Graded and Rochester Agricultural schools.

On March 31, 1951, in Mukwonago, he married Joyce Ruth Fraser. They lived and raised their family in Rochester Township on the family dairy farm.

He farmed his entire life with his brother, Laurel on the Schrader Brothers Farm. He was a member of Community Baptist Church of Honey Creek, a member of the Farm Bureau, a long time member of the Rochester Cemetery Board, served 10 years on the Rochester Town Board following his retirement from farming in 1992. He enjoyed playing dartball on Wednesday nights and enjoyed many get-togethers with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Gary (Terri) Schrader, Rochester, and Dean (Julie) Schrader, Elkhorn; grandchildren, Jennifer (Rick) Temple, Julie (Richard) Regalado, Brandon (Christine) Schrader, Brian (Amber) Schrader, Matt (Liz) Schrader, Alicia (Greg) Burton; great-grandchildren, Dylan and Kayla Temple, Dominic, Gabby and Lauren Regalado, Hailey Schrader, Ashley and Jeremy Schrader and Marlee Burton; step grandchildren, Sarah (Josh) Paxson, Ryan and Tyler Huttner; and his brother, Laurel Schrader.

The family would like to thank the staff of 800 West at Lakeland Health Care Center for their care and compassion.

Services are Sunday, Aug. 24, at 3 p.m., at Community Baptist Church of Honey Creek, 35512 Washington Ave., Burlington, with the Rev. Jane Mathison officiating. Visitation is at the church on Aug. 24, from noon to 2:30 p.m. Burial will take place at a later time. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Community Baptist Church of Honey Creek.
