Richard C. ‘Dick’ Remer, 71, Wheatland Township, died June 15, 2014, at his home.
He was born in Burlington on May 14, 1943, to the late Roy E. and Adeline E. (Jensen) Remer. He was a lifelong resident of the Burlington area and graduated from Westosha Central High School.
He worked for Pickard China, was a ham radio operator, enjoyed hunting and watching football, but loved his Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include his son, Rick (Lisa) Remer, Brookfield; stepchildren, Connie (Mike) Vasey, Christina Aguilar, Thomas Kach; siblings, Bob (Marlene) Remer, Tim Remer, Ted (Sandra) Remer, Michelle (Jerry) Dayboll, Sharyell (Darrell) Highland, Cindy (Scott) Okronglis, Bill Remer; sister-in-law, Carla Remer; several step-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
He was further preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, LaRoy ‘Butch’ Remer and Larry Remer.
The family would like to thank Dick’s good friend, Paula Sayers, for taking such good care of him.
Memorials are suggested to Wheatland Volunteer Fire Department.
Dick requested that no services be held.
