Patricia A. Ehlen, 85, Burlington, died Aug. 15, 2014, at Burlington Health & Rehab Center.
She was born in Burlington, on Jan. 19, 1929, to the late Louis and Alma (Albrecht) Kornhoff. She lived her entire life in Burlington and graduated from St. Mary’s Grade and High schools.
On Nov. 13, 1948, she married James Ehlen at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He preceded her in death.
She worked as a secretary for Burlington Mills and The Milwaukee Journal. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, loved gardening, reading, country music and spending time with her cats.
Survivors include her daughter, Judy Correll and other relatives and friends.
She was further preceded in death by aunts, uncles and son-in-law, Ernest Correll.
Her daughter, Judy, would like to thank the nursing staff at Burlington Health and Rehab Center for the wonderful care they gave Pat.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 27, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 6 p.m. Visitation is Aug. 27, from 4-5:45 p.m., in Good Shepherd Chapel. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, is serving the family.
