MARY ANN WIEBERG

Easter Lily      Mary Ann Wieberg, 86, Burlington, died Dec. 22, 2014, at Geneva Lake Manor.

She was born May 4, 1928, to the late Clarence and Opal (McCann) Dickman in Lake Geneva. Her early life was spent in Lake Geneva and Delavan. She attended and graduated from Delavan High School.

On May 24, 1947, she married the late Arnold Wieberg. Following marriage they resided in Zenda before moving to Woodstock, Ill., in 1951. They had resided in Woodstock for over 40 years before moving to Burlington in 1990. He preceded her in death on Aug. 13, 2007.

She had worked at Montgomery Wards as a customer service manager for 24 years. She loved shopping, working on crafts and painting, especially with oil paints. She had a very unique sense of humor that will be missed by her family and friends.

Survivors include numerous cousins, other relatives and friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Geneva Lake Manor, Dr. Michael Kokat and his staff, for all their care and compassion.

Funeral services are Monday, Dec. 29, at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington at noon with the Rev. Joe Debski officiating. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Dec. 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lyons.
