Leslie Harold ‘Les’ Quirk, 78, Royalton, Ill., died Feb. 24, 2014 at the VA Medical Center, Marion, Ill. He was born Oct. 12, 1935, in Kenosha, to the late Earl and Marjorie (Kersting) Quirk.
He married Arleen Rudolph Feb. 23, 1957, in Antioch, Ill. She preceded him in death Aug. 29, 2013.
He attended the Royalton First Baptist Church. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his daughters, Susan Leinicke, Royalton, and Renee (Pat) Folmar, Oklahoma; sons, Dale Quirk, Royalton, Harold Quirk, Georgia, Leland Quirk, Washington; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brothers, Ollie (Joyce) Quirk, Janesville, Earl (Barbara) Quirk Jr., Antioch; sisters, Kathy (Barry) Murray, Neb., Mary Ellen Quirk, Burlington; sister-in-law, Marilynn Quirk, DePere.
He was further preceded in death by his brother, Philip.
Vantrease Funeral Home, Royalton, served the family.
