Kristine McClellan, 52, Burlington, died June 16, 2014, at her home. She was born Oct. 29, 1961, to Whitney and Marion (Tesch) Miller in Burlington. Her early life was spent in Burlington. In 1992 she graduated from Gateway Technical School with a nursing degree. She also received a degree from Ashford University as a medical transcriptionist. She was employed by Lakeland Nursing Home as a CNA.
She enjoyed being outdoors, hiking, traveling and reading books, especially mysteries. More than anything she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Keeth) Furan; mother, Marion Miller Nelson; granddaughter, Stephany; siblings, Teresa Miller, Michael Miller and Steve Miller; nieces, Coral and Whitney Miller, Roy McClellan, the McClellan family and the Jensen family.
She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, John Nelson and grandparents.
Private family services were held. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, served the family.
