Judith M. Cain, 78, Burlington, died Aug. 23, 2014, at her residence. She was born May 4, 1936, to the late John and Mary (Brence) Brake in Waukegan, Ill. Her early life was spent in Waukegan where she attended high school.
On Aug. 22, 1968, she married George F. Cain. Following marriage they resided in Waukegan, moved to Harrietta, Mich., then Burlington.
She was employed by and retired from Abbott. She was the best mom, wife and grandmother anyone could ever ask for. She loved and treasured her family. She was an awesome cook and in her earlier years loved to garden and do crewel embroidery.
Survivors include her husband; children, Sarah (Jim) Roberts, Burlington, Terry (Jim) Randa, Arbor Vitae, Kelly Cain, Marquette, Mich.; grandchildren, George Roberts, Sarah (Adam) Jensen, Ian Hakala, Eric Hakala and Taylor Decota; and seven great-grandchildren.
Per Judy’s request no services will be held. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, served the family.
Memorials for Judy may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
