JENNIFER L. LIBBEY

Easter Lily      Jennifer Lee Libbey, 35, Burlington, died unexpectedly on Aug. 14, 2014. She was born in Stevens Point on July 11, 1979, to Richard and Lynn (LaBrot) Jackson. She her early life in Stevens Point where she graduated from SPASH. She attended UW–Eau Claire for two years and UW–Stevens Point where she graduated with a teaching degree.

She moved to Burlington to start her teaching career and that is where she met her future husband, Nathan Libbey. They were married on July 28, 2007, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Her greatest passion was being a mom to her three children and being with her loving husband.

She was a kindergarten teacher at Waller and Winkler schools and she touched many lives in her ten years of teaching. She loved her students and enjoyed sculpting young lives. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the Burlington Jaycees. She coached soccer, was a professional jump-roper where she was a part of The Wizards whose team traveled internationally. She had been a mail boat jumper in Lake Geneva and loved various water sports. She enjoyed watching and listening to dueling pianos.

Survivors include her husband; children, Addison, 4, Jackson, 3 and Lauryn, 1; her mother, Lynn Jackson; her mother and father-in-law, Michael and Victoria Libbey; her grandmother and grandfather-in-law, Gary and Shirley Ambrose; her brother, Jay Jackson; nephew, Elijah; brother and sister-in-law, Travis (Mary) Libbey and Heather (Paul) Ogren; aunts; uncles; cousins; other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, Maynard and Mary LaBrot and Lyle and Honey Jackson.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, Aug. 20, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev. John Gibson officiating. Burial will follow Mass. Visitation is Tuesday, Aug. 19, from 4-8 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to her children’s educational fund would be appreciated. Memorials may be made at Educator’s Credit Union, 448 Falcon Ridge, Burlington, WI 53105.
