Jennie F. (Phelps) Gieschen, 88, Bend, Oregon, formerly Union Grove, died Dec. 31, 2013, at Hospice House with family present.
She was born April 25, 1925, to the late Irwin and Mina Phelps in Winner, S.D.
She married Theodore Gieschen who died in 2002.
She is survived by six children, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren. Her surviving siblings are Irene Zirbel, Waterford, Burt Phelps, Burlington, and Sylvia Stoudt, Holland, Mich.
She was further preceded in death by siblings, Clifford, Leon, Glen, Louise Meyer and Dorothy De Baets.
