Florence N. Miller, 85, Burlington, died March 10, 2014, at Oak Ridge Care Center, Union Grove. She was born Nov. 11, 1928, to the late Pieber and Nellie Van Der Zee.
On Sept. 21, 1949, she married Elroy W. Miller in Genoa City. Following marriage they resided in Genoa City before moving to Burlington 41 years ago, where they raised their family. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2008.
She worked as a radiology aid and enjoyed sewing and gardening.
Survivors include her daughter, Patti Miller, Burlington; grandchildren, Justine, Sam, Nicholas and Maggie; and great-granddaughter, Marlaena Miller.
She was further preceded in death by her daughter, Shelley Miller, and brother, Bill Van Der Zee.
Memorials to the family would be appreciated.
