ELAINE SCHULZ

Easter Lily      Elaine Schulz, 90, Montello, formerly of Oxford, died peacefully Aug. 27, 2014, at the Montello Care Center.

She was born Dec. 23, 1923, in Wheatland Township, Kenosha County, to the late Hugo and Hilda (Neumann) Rosenhauer.

In May 1943 she married Norm Schulz in Slades Corners. Together they owned and operated Norm’s Electric from 1953 to 1981. Following retirement they moved to Whitefish Lake for 15 years before moving to Oxford. He preceded her in death.

She was a lifelong homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, sewing and craftwork. She especially loved the time spent with the grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was dearly loved by her family and many friends.

Survivors include her sons, Ronald (Fay) Schulz, Muscoda, and Randy (Mary) Schulz, Burlington; daughters, Sandra (Fred) Koehnke, Burlington, and Bonnie (George) Schlagel, Union Grove; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was further preceded in death by her daughter, Charlene; and granddaughters, Tammy and Robin.

Visitation is Saturday, Sept. 6, from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m., at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Slades Corners. The Rev. Jeff Halldorson will officiate. A luncheon will follow the service. A private burial service for the family will be held at a later time. The Picha Funeral Home and Crematory of Wisconsin Dells, is serving the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Slades Corners, or St. John’s Lutheran Church, Oxford.
