DUANE E. LEDUC

Duane Edward LeDuc, 73, Burlington, died Feb. 11, 2014, at Boland Hall at Wisconsin Veterans Home, Union Grove.

He was born on March 27, 1940, in Milwaukee, to the late Edward M. and Alice (Antoszak) LeDuc. He spent his early years in Milwaukee where he graduated from Don Bosco High School.

He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War as a photographer from 1965 to 1967.

On Aug. 29, 1970, he married Marilyn Tollefson. Following marriage they made their home in Wis. Rapids and Sheboygan before moving to Burlington in 1978.

He was a professional photographer with K & S Photographics. He owned his own studio (Scheibe Studio) in Burlington for 11 years. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Eric (Paula) LeDuc, Scottsdale, Ariz., and Matt (Kari) LeDuc, Burlington; grandchildren, Emmett LeDuc, Ciara (Kyle) Tullis and Bowdrie LeDuc; a sister, Diane (John) Pelzek; other relatives and friends.

Visitation was Feb. 16, at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, Burlington. Burial was Feb. 17, in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove.
