Donald F. Briere, 61, Lake Geneva, died unexpectedly on March 1, 2014, at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. He was born July 16, 1952, in Burlington, to the late Joseph and Helen (Hunsbusher) Briere. He was raised in New Munster where he attended St. Alphonsus Grade School. He graduated from Salem Central High School in 1970.
On Dec. 7, 1991, in Lake Como, he married the former Lorraine Graham. He retired from Nestle USA in September 2013 after 41 years of service. He was an avid golfer and hunter.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years; brother, David and partner David DuPre of Chicago.
He was further preceded in death by infant sisters, Elizabeth Ann and Donna Marie.
A celebration of life is Thursday, March 6, from 4-7 p.m., in the chapel of the Derrick Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Lake Geneva. Memorials in Don’s name may be made to: The Time is Now to Help or to the Lakeland Animal Shelter.
