Diane H. Nega, 76, Burlington, died Dec. 23, 2014, at Seasons Hospice in Waukesha, with her loving husband at her side.
She was born in Chicago on Sept. 20, 1938, to the late Arthur and Frances Ptack. She spent her early life there and attended Waller High School in Chicago. She also attended school to become a travel agent.
On Oct. 25, 1958, she married Frank Nega. Following marriage they made their home in Chicago before moving to Burlington in the 1970s.
She had worked as the secretary for Plymouth Church before becoming a travel agent with Omega World Travel in Milwaukee. She was a member of St. Charles Church and enjoyed spending time with her family, volunteering and traveling. She liked animals of all kinds, especially dogs.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years; daughter, Karen (John) Kammer, Janesville; son, Steve Nega, Waterford, and a cousin, Carol Grace.
The family would like to thank all the members at St. Charles for all the cards sent wishing her well.
Services were held on Dec. 31. Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, Burlington, served the family.
