CHARLOTTE BAUMEISTER

Easter Lily      Charlotte (Payleitner, Naber) Baumeister, 87, Burlington, died Nov. 15, 2014. She was born in Sheboygan, on Jan. 17, 1927. She was one of the youngest girls in both the Milz and Payleitner families. In 1929, her family moved to Freeport, Ill., where she attended grade school. In 1940, the family moved to Burlington, and she graduated from Burlington High School in 1945.

She married Bob Naber on June 14, 1947, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He died of cancer in 1987. She was a bookkeeper for Burlington Farm Implement. In 1974 Charlotte became a rural route postal carrier.

On Oct. 30, 1996, she married Ervin ‘Bud’ Baumeister in St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Survivors include her husband; children, Joann (Mike) Hegemann, Elkhorn, Ted (Denise Kretchmer) Naber, Burlington, Charles (Cathy Adams) Naber, Fort Atkinson, David Naber and Andy Naber, Burlington; 20 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; her sister, LaVerne Maahs; brother, Charles R. (Edie) Payleitner, Darien, Ill.; nieces; nephews; cousins; other relatives and friends.

She was further preceded in death by her sons, Michael, Thomas, Ralph and Anthony.

Visitation is Thursday, Nov. 20, from 4-6 p.m., at Mealy Funeral Home, 225 W. Main St., Waterford. Committal Services are Friday, Nov. 21, in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery on State Street in Burlington at 11 a.m. Meet at cemetery.

In lieu of floral expressions of sympathy, memorials are suggested to Hospice Alliance Hospice House, 10220 Prairie Ridge Blvd., Pleasant Prairie, WI 53158.
