Charles R. ‘Chuck’ Fry, 72, Waubeka, died Jan. 12, 2014, at his winter residence in Crystal River, Fla. He was born June 17, 1941, in Rock County, to the late Marvin and Ione (Snyder) Fry.
He was a retired truck driver, an avid sportsman, a family man and a patriot who loved this country. He was proud to be a lifetime member of the NRA. He spent much of his adult life in Wheatland
Survivors include his wife of 53 years; Mary Lou, Waubeka; daughter, Susan Fry Baker (Henry); son, Charles R. Fry Jr. (Karen), Howard Grove; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and many dear friends.
He was further preceded in death by his son, David A. Fry in 1994.
Visitation is Friday, Jan. 17, from 4-7 p.m., at the Schmidt & Bartelt Funeral Home, 10280 N. Port Washington Road, Mequon. Interment will be at the Willow Valley Cemetery in Richland County, on Saturday. In lieu of flowers or memorials the family asks that you take a moment to tell someone close to you how much you love them.
