STEVEN P. REGNER

Steven ‘Stevie’ Patrick Regner, 51, Burlington, died Oct. 5, 2013. He was born March 16, 1962, to Donald and Elizabeth Ann (Zoromsky) Regner, in Waukesha. His early life was spent in Waukesha. He relocated to Texas, then Arizona.

On Feb. 20, 2003, he married Laurie Kristl in Burlington. Following marriage they resided in Kansasville.

He was very talented. He was an outstanding chef, head chef at The Waterfront, a glass installer, a firefighter with Pheasants Forever, a member of Tucson Studios where he was a stuntman and served as Master of Ceremonies also known as “Mr. Old Tucson.” He was also a member of the National Screen Actors Guild. He was an accomplished guitarist and was known for his great sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh. Most of all he was a loving and caring father, beloved brother and his children knew him as Papa. He was a great friend to many. He will be missed by everyone who knew him and loved him.

Survivors include his wife; children, Zachry Zalk, Texas, Kris Kristl, Lake Geneva, Gabrielle and Emma Regner, Lake Geneva; granddaughter, Malaya Hack-Kristl; special friends, Barb Bertrang-Ray and John Ray; his siblings, Kurt Regner, Texas, Paul Regner, Texas, Donita Tess, East Troy; his special Aunt Sharon (Don) Ingram, Tucson, and their children Jodi and Carrie Ingram; and special nephew Eddie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepfather, Richard Noll.

Visitation is Saturday, Oct. 12, from noon until time of funeral services at 2 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington.

The family has suggested memorials be made to his children.
