ROSE M. HUBERT

Rose Marie Hubert, 82, Burlington, died peacefully Oct. 19, 2013, at her home. She was born May 8, 1931, in Bancroft, Idaho, to the late Ernest ‘Victor’ and Lillian (Gascoigne) Delbridge. She moved to South Elmsall, England, at the age of 3 and stayed until she was 16.

On Dec. 26, 1975, she married Anthony J. Hubert and they made their home in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1991.

She worked as a telephone operator. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Red Hat Society and Bunco Club. She was a wonderful mom and grandma. She loved knitting, playing cards, reading, fishing, bowling and watching game shows.

Survivors include her children, Carole Jean (Bruce Cooper) Binder, Orland Park, Ill., Donna Marie (Dale) Baughman, Layton, Utah, Linda Lorraine (Lenny) Gums, Burlington, Katherine Louise (Gary) Robinson, West Haven, Utah; stepsons, Perry (Bev) Hubert, Texas, Dennis (Jean) Hubert, Wisconsin; grandchildren, Sherry Lynn Noel, Cary Ann Stonehouse, Jennifer Budrick, Christine Jones, Eric Wagner, Robert Wagner, Jessica Moylan, Joanne Vaccaro, Jamie Lucchesi, Jackie Davenport, Sean Gums, Chris Gums, Colby Gums, Angela Leatham, Theresa Lamb, Sara Woodbury, Amanda Buckely; step-grandchildren, Carissa, Nathan, Benjamin, Adrienne, Caleb, Naomi, Shane and Mryia; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jeanne (Duane) Smith, Yuma, Ariz., and special friend, Joe Stones.

She was further preceded in death by her husbands, Donald Rodda and Anthony J. Hubert, and great-grandson, John Michael.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital or Alcoholics Anonymous.

Funeral services are Thursday, Oct. 24, at 7:15 p.m., at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home, 625 Browns Lake Drive, Burlington, with Bishop George Thimmesch officiating. Visitation is Thursday, at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m. Burial is Friday at 11:15 a.m., at Good Hope Cemetery, Greenfield.
