Rest in peace, Bob. I first met Bob a few decades ago through a mutual acquaintance, the Rev. Robert Miles. Back then, Robert E. Schloneger was an idealistic young man who worked and fought hard for his friends. He lived a fascinating life and at one time hobnobbed with some interesting political figures, both famous and infamous. Bob’s short obituary fails to do him justice. My prayers are with Bob’s family in this time of loss.
