JOSHUA TAUSCHER

Easter Lily

Joshua ‘Tausch’ Tauscher, 25, of Lyons, died Oct. 2, 2013, at Froedtert Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born Nov. 17, 1987, in Burlington, to William Tauscher and Suzanne (Palm) Stanczyk. He lived in the Burlington area his entire life, graduating from Burlington High School.

He worked as a mechanic doing small engine repair, but his true passion was living life to its fullest. He was a practical joker and always had a smile on his face. He loved life and was always willing to try new things.

He served on the Lyons Volunteer Fire Department for six years as both a firefighter and an EMT. He loved taking things apart and fixing them. He was always himself and never tried to be anything else. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. He loved wearing his suspenders and drinking Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Survivors include his parents, William Tauscher and Susie (Tim) Stanczyk; sisters, Amy (Jason Erickson) Tauscher, Sarah (Curt) Henningsen; stepbrother, Stephen Stanczyk; niece, Rain Ludtke; nephews, Ethan Tauscher, Jaxson Erickson and Hunter Henningsen.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gertrude and Wenzel ‘Bud’ Tauscher, Gloria and Elmer Palm and Helene Holden.

Memorials may be made to the family or the Joshua Tauscher Memorial Fund at Talmer Bank.
